We, the undersigned, are calling on the Welsh Government and RCT Council to reverse their decision to appeal the High Court's judgment in relation to the reorganisation of schools in the Greater Pontypridd area.
On September 24th 2020, RCT Council announced they would appeal the outcome of the Judicial Review relating to a shake up that would have seen schools and sixth forms closed, and majorly impacted on equity of access to Welsh medium education.
We are calling on RCT Council and the Welsh Government to remove their appeal and instead engage with local communities to develop alternative plans, rather than follow this costly course of action.
